Guests love the authentic Thai flavors, fast service, and warm family-friendly atmosphere at this Denver favorite.
Been here again today, very consistent quality, still the best laksa in town! Absolutely the best laksa in Toronto! Really love it. This is my Laksa go to place! The fact that it’s in a food court, there ain’t any atmosphere at all
2023 November 4 Review Based on Penang Fried Kueh Teow 檳城炒粿條 $10.50 Pretty good. Has the 鑊氣 heat and traditional flavors you'd find in Malaysia. Portions are ok. It was recommended to me and I would recommend this dish as well.
Follow @bredgyeats for more food posts! Curry Laksa - Another hidden gem of the bunch, the curry laksa packs a comforting punch, something so satisfying with stuffing your face with a giant bite of egg and rice noodles, that provide a pleasant variance in texture while soaking up tons of that creamy laksa broth. The toppings include fried tofu, which are perfect sponges for the broth again, along with some chunks of chicken.
the Char Kway Teow was very tasty and a great portion for the price, good enough for sharing.
Having lived in Malaysia, we know what authentic Malaysian food should taste like. This place truly delivered — easily the best Malaysian food we’ve had in Canada. It brought back the true sense of Malaysia The portion was generous and more than enough for my wife and me.
One of the many great food options in First Markham Place. I got the Char Kway Teow which was very tasty and a great portion for the price. Great Malay and Southeast Asian dishes served here and everything is prepared fresh to order.
Ordered the Penang char kway teow and boy was it good. It had strong smokey wok flavor I associate with ckw, it could just use a pinch more salt but still very good. The ingredients in it was pretty standard shrimp, fish cake, etc, but it really was the wok hey that put that up one of the better Malaysia spot around. Will definitely try their other dishes next time
Delicious noodles ! Will try out other dishes next time
Thai food and quite a few other noodle dishes on offer. Reasonably priced with a big plate of Pad Thai. Pretty good tasting. Friendly and efficient staff. Cooking took under ten minutes on a Saturday around 11am. Updated Apr 2025 Had the Malaysian noodles and they were good, a few shrimp and chicken added to the noodles. A big plate for $12.40. Update Oct 2025 Prices are now $13 for Hokkien noodles.
This place has the best laksa you can find. I tried many places but this is authentic Penang Laksa. We keep coming back for more than 15 yrs. Always good to see the owners preparing our food and its a clean area . It is located in a food court and I I wish they have a restaurant location as well.
Very tasty Nanyang style black sauce fried rice. Sunny-side-up egg with crispy edges and the lava yolk was the highlight. Good prices as well!
My go to place for curry laksa! Big bowl for still a reasonable price. Properly spicy with all the right flavours. The owners are really nice and I'm glad they were able to stay open through the pandemic times.
As a Malaysian, I've tried many Malaysian restaurant that is available in Canada. By far for the Char Kwey Teow. It's not going to be the most authentic but is it the closest one I've had out of any locations. Brings back memories . Staff is friendly and nice!
One of our favorite Malaysian restaurants and go to stall in first Markham Place food court. The Char Koay Teow and Nyonya Laksa are two of our favorite dishes. Portion size is quite generous as well! Their food is always served piping hot and extremely flavorful. The flavour is reasonably authentic with good wok hei!
This is a takeaway restaurant in the food court. The laksa soup noodle is simply delicious and the price is reasonable. Love it.
Hole in the wall serving authentic Malaysian food. The char kuay teow was delicious with authentic flavours and wok hei. Tastes just like the ones I had at street vendors in Malaysia.
